NY Judge: "There Will Be No Further Delays"

Earlier this week we reported a joint request from the parties for a five-month delay in the New York proceedings due to COVID-19.

Judge Lewis Liman was unimpressed with the request and granted only two extra months, stating "There will be no further extensions." You can read His Honor's order here:

Judge McMahon previously uttered almost those same words eight months ago. Her Honor wrote, "I will not grant ANY further extensions. Be guided accordingly."

So the parties have quickly reached the same point with Judge Liman. This chart shows what was asked for, versus what was granted:

Would that Judge Connolly in Delaware were equally impatient to get this case off his docket.
