CDXC Short Interest Chart Thru 3/15

The short sellers are on a rampage, pushing short interest to an all-time high of nearly 4M shares, and pushing share price down significantly from its record high in November.

Since November, short interest and share price have consistently moved in opposite directions, suggesting that short sellers are significantly able to manipulate the price.

But why? To keep ChromaDex out of the Russell 3,000 for another year? Or do they think that two years is enough stalling and Elysium Health will finally be able to pivot its business model to something sustainable, which somehow matters to ChromaDex?

Time will tell.
