No Settlement in California


Magistrate Judge McCormick today posted minutes from yesterday's Mandatory Settlement Conference indicating that no settlement was reached. You can read the minutes here:

The failure to settle is not unexpected, and I think it's good news for ChromaDex. An anonymous poster on the Yahoo Finance message board purporting to have been brought in to settle the case was advancing a lot of settlement theories that suggested Elysium has not learned its lesson.

If ChromaDex is able to obtain some favorable court outcomes in the coming weeks, better settlement options are likely to become available.
